Recommended for Semi-Finishing and finishing operations on steels at IC530N medium to high cutting speeds and low feeds. Features excellent surface finish, high wear resistance, plastic TiN deformation durability and prevents built-up edge. TiCN Base A hard submicron grain-sized substrate with a hard ceramic coating of Titanium Diboride (TiB₂), renowned for its exceptional oxidation stability and IC706 superior wear resistance. Ideal for semi-finishing and S10-S20 finishing operations on titanium alloys at moderate TiB2 cutting speeds, resulting in extended tool life.
