CBN GROOVING SERIESCBN & PCD TURNING INSERTS

(GY/MG)

FEATURES

A CBN insert combined with a high rigidity holder ensures

high accuracy and long tool life.

Holder rigidity is essential when grooving hardened steel. The GY series Tri Lock

system offers high rigidity equivalent to a 1-piece type despite being a 2-piece type.

B MG has a wide insert location face for high gripping force. A CBN insert combined with

these holders allows it to deliver excellent performance when grooving hardened steel.

BC8110 coated materials for continuous machining of

hardened steel have been added to GY inserts.

BC8110 materials with excellent wear resistance have been added. Compared to

conventional materials, they display excellent wear resistance to achieve long tool life. A blade width of .236" has also been added to the lineup of BC8110.
