CAUTIONARY POINTS IN USE

  • The cutting heads specifi ed by Tungaloy must be used. Avoid using alternate heads 8 that are not Tungaloy products as this will damage the shank and can cause severe OK accident or injury.
  • Before setting the head, clean the connection screw with an air blast or a wiping cloth to remove chips and other foreign matter that may remain.
  • Do not apply the lubricant to the connection screw.

Gap

  • Please use the correct “Wrench” with the correct cutting head. Tighten the head slowly until the face of the head contacts the shank. (Please refer to the picture shown on the right.) Do not re-tightening or over-tightening. Excessive tightening may cause the cutting head to break. 9
  • Do not apply excessive force or a hammer when tightening or exchanging the cutting heads.
