GBP 57 NEW VERSION OF DIN EN 15512:2022-06 DIN EN 15512 is regarded as one of the most important regulations for the static design of fixed, adjustable pallet racking made of steel. Since its introduction in 2009, it has now been revised and newly published in the 2020 version under DIN EN 15512:2022-06. The changes were made as a result of progressive European harmonization of standards and regulations, as well as continuous development and content revision in accordance with the latest scientific findings. This entails various adjustments in the fundamentals and calculation methods. DIN EN 15512:2022-06 is therefore the state of the art and must be taken into account by all manufacturers, planners and users. What does this mean for pallet racks? The new load values from the new DIN EN 15512:2022-06 have an impact on the system and its components. The load values of the frames are reduced. In the area of the cross-beams this results in material wearing away or building up. Existing systems are not affected by the revision of DIN. They are still considered safe.
