Erickson™ TG Single-Angle Collets

TG — Tremendous Grip Collets are manufactured according to the original Erickson standard and developed to utilize the full power available from the modern machine tool. A slow taper (8º inclusive angle) is used to produce maximum wedge action as the collet is forced back into the chuck body from the actuating locknut. From all the Collets WIDIA™ offers, the TG system is superior on grip, versatile in applications, and the most accurate. They are ideal for end milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, and boring solutions and available in a variety of styles, TG50, TG75, TG100, and TG150, with clamping ranges from 0,5–40mm (.0197–1.5000").

• Standard design accuracy to DIN 6499 Class 2 accuracy.
