Erickson™ CAT V-Flange Shank Tooling System CV40 Series

Erickson V-Flange CAT Taper Tooling is manufactured from premium materials and meets or exceeds

the latest ANSI B5.50 and ISO-1947 taper accuracy of AT3 specification standards. CV40 tools are either

prebalanced to a high specification or balanced-by-design and will perform effectively up to 15,000 RPM.

For any applications higher than 15,000 RPM, WIDIA™ recommends that the complete toolholder assembly

(toolholder, retention knobs, collets, hardware, and cutting tools) be balanced as one identity.

CAT40(CV)

• ANSI B5.50 7/24 taper.
• Standard 5/8-11 drawbar thread.
• Taper accuracy of AT3 specification or better.
• All tools set to form AD coolant specification. Many can be converted to form B style.
• Maximum 15,000 RPM.
• Maximum 100 bar (1,500 psi) coolant pressure.

Dentent hole identifies shallow drive key slot.

2 drive slots at 180º opposed.

• Equal width.
• Unequal depth.

Tool changer V-groove.

Inch drawbar thread. 7/24 taper.
