GBP 57 Welder’s safety gloves Safety gloves for welders should protect the hands and wrists during the welding operations against the following hazards: ■ Convective heat and contact heat ■ UV radiation from the electric arc ■ Mechanical risks The hazards depend in large measure on the type of welding operation. EN 12477 regulates the performance requirements of the welder’s gloves and defines which minimum values to EN 388 (Protection against mechanical risks), EN 407 (Protection against thermal risks) and EN ISO 21420 (Dexterity) must be achieved in order to satisfy EN 12477. All-round welder’s glove made of split-grain cowhide. Very strong and tough. With elasticated band at the wrist for a better fit. Lined. 09 4127 – Tegera® 118a. Allround welder’s gloves made of split-grain cowhide and full-grain goatskin. With reinforced index finger control. Unlined. 09 4128 – Welder’s gloves of combined full-grain and split grain leather.
