GBP 57 TOOLCAR AND TOOLTRUCK ROLLER CABINETS 91 What makes them so safe, unproblematic and user-friendly? Our GARANT GridLine roller cabinets are tested by TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH according to the current standards DIN EN 16121:2024-04 and DIN 5054:2019-12 and thus meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988). What does this mean in concrete terms? What is checked by the TÜV and what does this mean for your safety? 1. Tilt resistance ■ Anti-tilt device: If several drawers are pulled out at the same time, there is a risk of tipping! That is why we ensure that only one drawer of the roller cabinet can be opened at a time – with an tamper-proof anti-tilt device. ■ Load capacity of the drawers: The maximum load capacity of the drawers is 40 kg. This means that even if the top drawer is loaded with 40 kg and opened completely, the cabinet is stable and there is no risk of tipping. ■ Load capacity of the cabinet: Our roller cabinets are approved up to a total mass of 510 kg, meaning a lot of tools fit into the drawers! ■ Dynamic stability and stability on an incline: The TÜV test includes the risk of tipping at a cabinet tilt of 10° with full load and the stop function at a speed of 0.5 m/s, also with full load. The cabinets remain stable during both tests, which gives you peace of mind in every situation. ■ Central locking: With a central locking system for drawers and side compartments, all drawers are always locked. This ensures that drawers cannot open while moving the cabinet. 2. Constructional safety ■ Dual braking function: 2 castors with parking brake ensure that the cabinet cannot roll away when the brake is applied. At the same time, the castor heads of the rollers is also blocked, meaning that the braked rollers can no longer rotate on the wheel’s own axis. This gives you absolute stability when parking the cabinet. ■ One-handed release: A central catch in the grip handle can be operated with one hand to open the drawer. This makes it easier to open the drawers. ■ Drawer runners: The stability and smooth running / running characteristics of the drawer runners are tested in the TÜV test. This gives you the peace of mind that the drawers can be opened and closed cleanly and easily even after extensive use. ■ Strengthened construction: Pressed parts in the corners for bracing ensure long-term stability and thus safety. 3. Material safety (PAH test) ■ Material testing ensures that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) meet certain limits. PAHs are a large group of structurally similar substances that can be easily absorbed through the skin or lungs. All the materials of the roller cabinets (sheet steel, plastic and aluminium, rubber and bamboo) meet PAH requirements – for good and safe handling! ■ Push handle with 2-component Haptoprene®: Full grip, even with oily and wet hands.
